    Excellent cottage, especially if you have young children or pets. Garden fully enclosed. Cottage is well furnished and equipped with everything required for a short or lengthy stay. Easy access to all main roads but far enough away from traffic and road noise. Plenty of...More

    Excellent base for a visit to Durham and Northumberland

    Dog friendly well equipped and comfortable cottage. Easy road access and an excellent base for trips to the beaches and city. Have put this cottage on our list of places to visit again.

    Perfect cottage for a small family

    The Pele Cottage has everything you need for short or long stay. It is very well equipped with a dishwasher and a combined washing machine /dryer. The private garden at the back of the cottage is perfect for our son who loves to play outside....More

    The property is set at the centre of a 400 acre working farm. There are public footpaths and cycle ways through the farm and the local facilities are a 15 minute walk away.

    We are conveniently located near city, coast and countryside and are a short drive to the dynamic centre of Newcastle/Gateshead, which forms a single, diverse and extremely vibrant visitor destination. With so many areas offering new sights, sounds and experiences you’ll be amazed at how much is on offer. World-class culture, vibrant nightlife, award winning dining, inspiring heritage, fantastic shopping and acclaimed architecture are linked here as nowhere else by the famous Geordie spirit.

    To make the most of your stay we recommend you have a car but access to local bus services are within a 5 minute walk. The Tyne and Wear Metro system is a 15 minute drive away with parking available.

    We are perfectly located for access by various modes of transport whether by car, train, bus or plane.

    From Tyne Tunnel / A19 - Travel North to Moor Farm roundabout and take the first left (A189) South for ½ mile to next roundabout. Take the second left - B1505 signed to Burradon. Travel 1/3 mile up the hill then take the first left onto Burradon Farm road. The office/reception is on the right hand side.

    From Western Bypass / A1 - Travel North of Newcastle to the A19 junction, then eastwards for 2 miles to Moor Farm roundabout. Take the fourth exit - A189 South for ½ mile to the next roundabout. Take the second left - B1505 signed to Burradon. Travel 1/3 mile up the hill then take the first left onto Burradon Farm road. The office/reception is on the right hand side.
