Top quality cottage accomodation

Buttermilk is a very nice spacious cottage. We have now stayed there twice and would thoroughly recommend it, as we would Burradon cottages more generally.Great location on the edge of Newcastle with easy access to beautiful Northumbria,

Perfect for a quiet & relaxing beautifully apointed get-away and with walking paths on your doorstep

The location is perfect for enjoying what the local area has to offer and has multiple bus routes on the doorstep for ease of getting around whether you want to go to the City, explore local beaches or the beautiful countryside. Ample grassed areas and...More

The property is set at the centre of a 400 acre working farm. There are public footpaths and cycle ways through the farm and the local facilities are a 15 minute walk away. We are conveniently located near city, coast and countryside and are a short drive to the dynamic centre of Newcastle/Gateshead, which forms a single, diverse and extremely vibrant visitor destination. With so many areas offering new sights, sounds and experiences you’ll be amazed at how much is on offer. World-class culture, vibrant nightlife, award winning dining, inspiring heritage, fantastic shopping and acclaimed architecture are linked here as nowhere else by the famous Geordie spirit.
Getting around
To make the most of your stay we recommend you have a car but access to local bus services are within a 5 minute walk. The Tyne and Wear Metro system is a 15 minute drive away with parking available.
