There are falling hazards [stairs, etc.] that require parental supervision. We warn parents of this. There are no special accommodations for children <5yo. Children, regardless of age, count as guests. Due to damages caused by 'well trained, quiet pets' we have to request that you do not bring your pet with you. Also, we have observed territorial fights instigated by local dogs. Smoking is tolerated but only outside the buildings. Use ashtrays. Complete house rules are posted.

Laid back Mazunte

About the neighbourhood
Posada Mazuntinas is located in a neighborhood a short distance off the main road. This provides quick and easy access to restaurants, food vendor stands and transportation to local attractions. Located less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, we are insulated from the late night bar music by a hill making for more tranquil nights. There are occasional nighttime noises [dogs, etc. but they are short in duration.]
