Prior to arrival, guests will be emailed detailed instructions on how to find our home and how to access the keys. Inside our home we have a large notice board together with an information manual that details everything that there is to know about our home and the area. There are instructions for all the appliances, TV etc. as well as information on local attractions. Guests are encouraged to phone the owner if they have a problem, or just want more information about something.

Labrador is located on the northern stretch of the Gold Coast with close proximity to Southport CBD and is central to everything. The suburb consists of residential homes as well as many serviced and self-contained apartments, hotels & motels, a popular waterfront tourist park and a wide selection of restaurants. Labrador overlooks the scenic Southport Broadwater.... a haven for boating and water sports enthusiasts with its still, shallow waters. The foreshore is just a short stroll down the street and offers pleasant and peaceful walking tracks and the wide variety of restaurants along Marine Parade have helped the suburb evolve into a trendy area known for its waterfront dining.

Getting around
The most convenient way to get around is by private car. For holidaymakers who don't wish to rent a car, there is a public bus service just down the street. Many of the major tour operators offer door-to-door pick ups to visit the major attractions, theme parks etc.
We have several cafes, restaurants etc. within 10 minutes walk of our home.

Railway: Helensvale: 7.0 km
Labrador is centrally located on the Gold Coast within easy driving distance along the motorway from both Brisbane and Coolangatta airports....only 50 minutes drive south of Brisbane and 40 minutes north of Coolangatta. Brisbane is an international gateway and both airports are serviced by Qantas, Virgin & Jetstar domestic airlines as well as all major car rental companies. There are several transport companies that offer door-to-door, coach transfers from both Brisbane & Gold Coast airports. These can be prebooked online. Detailed driving instructions from the airports to Labrador are provided to all guests prior to arrival. We have ample off street parking available at our home.
