Our Romany style caravan was built as a labour of love and is set in a leafy secluded spot in our 2 acre garden. Surrounding you is blissful green complete with pond and your own personal fire pit, with our sleepy campsite the other side of the trees. The space has a delightful kitchen/living area and super comfy double bed. There is electric light and heating, and the space is stocked with kitchen essentials, bedding and household items. The new toilet and shower block is just a meander away.

We had a relaxing 2 night stay for my birthday in the onsite glamping caravan. From start to finish we totally chilled out, including our Jack Russell who is constantly looking for things to bark at. The caravan had everything you need to prepare all your meals, with the 2 ring gas cooker or barbecue for cooking. We set outside on the included garden chairs with beer, wine, gin and tonic chilled in the fridge, then after seeing the most amazing sunset moved inside to play cards and read a book. I had ordered a loaf on arrival and it was home cooked and very tasty ... the homemade jam is delicious too. Walking to the toilet block took 2 minutes and I must say the toilets and showers were absolutely immaculate and torches were supplied for night time visits. Liza was the perfect host, available if needed but left you to do your thing. Must say I can't wait to go again and chill down again.

Campsite goers have played very loud music on several occasions which can be heard by neighbouring houses. 👎

Lovely campsite, clean & tidy, owners very helpful. Downside is there is only one sink for washing pots, which is not under cover. One sink for the whole campsite isn't really enough and if its raining you would get rather wet. Luckily for us there wasn't many campers during our stay. The water for the pot wash is dependent on the sun, unfortunately there wasn't much sun, so for 3 mornings we washed our dishes in cold water. Nice location and lovely site, wouldn't stay again as the facilities aren't up to much and the price doesn't reflect this.

My sister was looking for ages for a campsite for several of us to go to post lockdown and found Little Oak which was an easy journey for all of us coming from various locations in the U.K. The campsite itself is beautiful and brilliant for toddlers and children of all ages to explore. Our son has just started walking and he gained loads of confidence running around under the trees and across the site. It was an unusually hot weekend and there was loads of shade under the trees which was a godsend with little ones. The shower and toilet facilities were cleaned very regularly and the owners, Andy and Liza were always around and were very friendly and helpful, excellent hosts and really accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night. It was our first camping trip outside of going fo festivals and we felt lucky to spend it in such a gorgeous place where we have made magical memories as a family.

Great little campsite, very clean, friendly and helpful. We had 4 young children with our two families (2-4 years) and they loved it there. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Myself and my partner spent 1 night in the shepereds hut and had such a lovely stay. We were greeted by a friend of the owners who showed us around and provided us with some wood for the fire, a very friendly man! The hut was perfect very cosy & was equipped well I.e toaster, kettle, heater, cutlery, board games, fridge, plates, bowls, cups ect. Bed was very comfy and it was lovely waking up to the sounds of nature. Shower and toilet facilities clean and worked well (showers were nice and hot). Thankyou for a lovely stay!

The location of this shepherds hut is amazing. Set in a large garden with a pond, your own fire pit, outdoor table and chairs and barbecue. It is equipped with everything you need, is cosy and comfortable. So peaceful being surrounded by the countryside, with lanes to walk and cycle down is a bonus, but only a stones throw away from Retford. Liza and Andy are great hosts, happy smiley faces greet you with a warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble. They sell homemade jams chutneys and bread. Logs are supplied by the wheelbarrow load with lighter and kindling for a small fee. Charcoal and lighter are included. A great place to unwind! I will visit again.

This is a lovely little campsite, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We came by train and Andy picked us up and gave us a lift to Little Oak. We stayed 2 nights in the Romany style caravan which was fantastic and just perfect for me, my partner and our dog. It's also stocked with everything you could need which was a lovely touch! Also has it's own BBQ and fire pit, which was brilliant, especially as we visited in Sept and the nights are starting to get cold! Will definitely return!
