Strangford lough, an area of outstanding beauty. This property with woodburning fire garden & patio and private parking to rear is situated in a picturesque fishing village. It has shops, beaches walks and local attractions at Castleward, ferry to outdoor aquarium at Portaferry and bus to local historical town of Downpatrick. This property has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate 7 people. This is a comfortable well furnished property. It has OFCH and wood burning fire. Electric smoke detectors fitted in all areas of property. There is an electric shower in the ground floor bathroom and a bath in the upstairs bathroom. The property has a raised good sized back garden and patio area with table and chairs, which is well maintained, and parking area to rear and double gates leading to back lane. Guests are greeted in arrival at the property or if preferred arrangements can be made for key to be collected, agreed in advance. This is a quiet fishing village which immediately creates a feeling of tranquility and relaxation. The locals are friendly and take a pride in their village. There are scenic walks, and great cycling in the local Castleward estate. The beaches are clean with beautiful views over the Strangford Lough and the ferry trip to Portaferry is always s delight. There are local attractions there such as explores aquarium and lovely art galleries bars and restaurants. Strangford is also just 10 mins by car/bus from the historical village of Downpatrick, and 30mins to the holiday resort of Newcastle and beautiful Tullymore forest park and mountains of Mourne. Belfast city is just 40 mins away by cart be village benefits from popular bars, restaurants and mini supermarkets, one of which has a renowned butcher. The local newsagents sells a great variety of goods including plants toys and gifts just 7doors away from this property and a hairdressers 3doors away.
