If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch. ##Neighborhood The apartment is located in l’Hospitalet, which is a suburb in the west of Barcelona located around 15 minutes from the center of the city and just 20 minutes from the airport via public transport. Barcelona expanded in the 1960s and many people moved to L’Hospitalet looking job opportunities, making it diverse and rich in culture. The area is home to Fira de Barcelona, which hosts more than 120 trade shows annually, so if you’re visiting for business, this area will be convenient. Despite its modern commercial expansion, the area is home to several ancient Roman ruins and evidence of settlements even earlier, making Hospitalet de Llobregat one of Catalonia’s oldest neighborhoods. You can learn more about the rich history of the area with a trip to the local Museum of History or by stepping inside the oldest surviving building in the city, the Santa Eulàlia de Provençana, which dates back to the 1100s. L’Hospitalet de Llobregat has plenty of amazing places to eat out, but for the range of the menu, the reasonable prices and the friendly atmosphere, L'hospirineos has to be the top pick. Córdoba bar is also a top destination for Andalusian tapas as well as being a great place to grab a beer in the evening. From the airport, you can take the Aerobus to Plaça Espanya and there change on to the red line (L1) from Plaça Espanya to Santa Eulalia. ##Other things to note Please keep in mind that according to the Law, you will be asked at the moment of the check-in for your IDs and to sign a contract for your stay. This is compulsory if you want to stay at the apartment. Also, you will be required to present your ID/Passport upon arrival. In order to follow local regulations and to be able to register all our guests on the local police’s database, we will have to take pictures of ID documents for all guests. I hope this is not inconvenient! The flat is ideal for families and business travellers. Check-in time is at 3 pm or later. Check out time is 11 am or earlier. Please, no smoking inside the flat. No pets allowed, please respect the neighbours. No loud noises after 10 pm. No parties or events allowed Please note that a late check-in will require the payment of an extra fee as per the following: - From 20:00hrs: €20 - From 22:00h: €25 - From 00:00h: €40 This fee will be collected at check-in and must be paid by card. I was nervous being the first guest but this was the best place I've stayed in Barcelona. Everything in the flat was brand new. In fact I even caught some price tags on some items which was fine. I could tell a lot of thought...More
