Such a conveniently situated cottage, only a minute away from local shops and cafes. Dragonfly Cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We appreciated the provision of supplies and local maps that other cottages rarely consider. Good response times from the owner.

About the neighbourhood
Rothbury provides an ideal base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. It's a magical place filled with ancient castles, golden sandy beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland and picturesque towns and villages. The National Trust's Cragside, home of the Victorian inventor Lord Armstrong, is nearby and a 'must see' attraction.

For those that enjoy a more active approach there's an abundance of walking routes (as well as guided walks), cycling routes and watersport opportunities.
