This was the perfect rental for us for our annual winter get away. The location is perfect...15 minutes from Quebec City and 45 minutes from Mount Ste Anne’s. The house came exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

When we first arrived at Yves' beautiful place, we were mesmerized by the surrounding scenery. The lustrous sheen from the moonlight reflecting off of the frozen lake allowed the streets to be lit up with a soft white light. Upon opening the door we were greeted with a modernized interior reminiscent of the average millenial's lifestyle. A perfect pairing of spacious and luxurious, all furnishings were well maintained and very clean.
The kitchen was well beyond equipped and in general the household had everything you needed from spices to baking supplies. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also well equipped with tons of towels and drawer/closet space. Although one of the bathroom's shower temperature could have been more consistent, we were able to use two of the three showers that had hotter water.
Our only complaint was that it was hard to adjust the temperature of the house. When we adjusted to a warmer temperature, it would go down to 18 degrees automatically at night, which gave some of us a sore throat in the mornings. We did appreciate the extra throws in the living room to keep us cozy and warm. Weather conditions can be unpredictable in these climates, which led to some slippery driving when entering and leaving the driveway.
Overall, we had a great stay and the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions!
Would recommend to friends, families and strangers as an elusive getaway to experience what the arctic could feel like.
