We have tried to outfit the space with the comfort and convenience of our guests in mind. This is the main living area which also contains the kitchenette and access to the bathroom. Across the hall we have added a small bunk room suitable for children or an extra guest with a twin over full bed and 32' smart TV. Note this TV is not currently hooked up to cable, but movies, TV shows, live stations and music can be watched via Netflix and other apps. The kitchenette, in the main area of the Studio, was designed to maximize counter space while providing the essentials for quick and easy meal prep. This probably isn't the space to perfect your finest 8 course dinner menu, but all the essentials to eat in should you wish are here - microwave, 2 burner hot plate, griddle for pancakes, eggs and bacon, toaster/toaster oven, and slow cooker are provided. We've found you can make some pretty great après ski meals in a slow cooker! The under-counter refrigerator offers just enough space to store restaurant leftovers or weekend essentials. A full pot coffee maker, electric tea kettle and wine chiller are also provided. The bathroom is small and the vanity doesn't have a ton of counter space, but the water pressure and waterfall / water spray luxury 8” shower head are great! Please note that while the bunk room and the main studio area have doors that can be closed to provide private sleeping spaces, guests in the bunk room will need to go through the main Studio area to access the bathroom. Overall we've tried to make the studio a cozy, welcoming and comfortable space to come back to after a day on the slopes, golfing, mountain biking or enjoying all Carrabassett Valley has to offer. *Please note that ski in / out is weather - condition dependent and that the West Mountain lift does not always run during the week so while it may be possible to ski home, you may have to take the shuttle to the main base area during the week if the lift is not running.
