With four sets of doors spanning across the rear of the home, two of which open to the balcony terraces and two further Juliet balconies; you are absolutely guaranteed the beautiful marina views will always be in clear sight. Within the living area, the wood burning stove is cleverly positioned with comfortable seating arrangements surrounding, including a sofa bed sleeping up to two guests. Head up the stairs to the three generous sized and airy bedrooms. The king-sized bedroom offers doors to a Juliet balcony with splendid marina views and a large en-suite shower room boasting a double shower enclosure. Furthermore, you will find a double bedroom also with marina views, and finally a twin room, both sharing the family bathroom offering a bath over shower. The first floor also benefits from central heating. Back on the ground floor, open up the balcony doors where you can sit to enjoy outdoor dining with a barbecue to enjoy al fresco dining, all whilst overlooking the stunning Cornish marina. We were all very pleased with the waterfront house, Malpas is a quaint little village just outside the city of Truro. The local pub was a minute walk away ( highly recommend ) there was a Tesco about 8 minute drive. Truro is central to Cornwall so a great place to be based. The waterfront house was well equipped with everything you need when on holiday and parking for two cars. My only criticism is it’s getting a little tired, but that would not stop me from booking again.

No doubt that this house enjoys a fantastic location and could be a real gem but..... It does not meet the grade of a "luxury" holiday rental because it is bland, bleak and very much lacking the normal owner extras that one would expect in an expensive luxury rental. When we first opened the front door we were accosted by a very unpleasant sewer type smell. Apparently the property had been empty for a time and no owner to take the care to make sure it had been aired. The sink in the ensuite bathroom was found to be blocked. There were no flowers in the numerous vases. There were a minimum of pictures on the walls. There was a festering towel in the washing machine. There was one log for the fire (an extra £25 should have been paid for logs). There was no password for the wifi. If you wish somewhere to sleep but do not expect anything else, other than a lovely view, then this is the place for you. Very disappointing!
