About the Area Truro makes a wonderful base to discover the Cornish coastline. The Malpas Road is an area of outstanding natural beauty and an unrivalled combination of waterfront, city, coast and country where you can enjoy riverside walks and boating expeditions; trips to golden beaches and traditional fishing coves; superb bar/restaurant venues; arts, theatre and culture and the chance to feel cosseted in luxury. With an enticing and eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants, golf course, theatre, cinema, bowling alley, art galleries, museum and Cathedral, Truro is an excellent year round destination with plenty of activities for all ages. Walk out of the apartment to Boscawen Park with its beautiful floral displays, tennis courts, table-tennis-tables and the children's adventure playground. You can start your day with a delicious breakfast at Trennick Mill beside the park (the waffles with streaky bacon and maple syrup are to die for) and then set off to explore a beautiful network of wooded estuaries on foot or on water. There are visitor pontoons and a slipway at the park for guests with kayaks, canoes and dinghies with temporary mooring facilities at Malpas. Colourful pleasure boats sail from Truro to Falmouth and St Mawes, stopping off en-route at the National Trust's exotic Trelissick Gardens. Spend time at Falmouth, famed for its sandy beaches, Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum and for an amazing contrast, the nearby seaside village of St Agnes on the dramatic north coast is well worth a trip. The location was great being by the park and river The flat was easy to find and very well equipped. Comfortable,warm and clean. It was easy to stow our food and frozen supplies. Plenty of cooking equipment was available. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. The location gives easy access to a variety of beaches and also the city of Truro. We would be happy to return. Parking in the g a rage is fine with Golf sized car. The visitor parking spaces are best for off loading suitcases.

Stayed here for 7 x nights last week and can honestly say it was a home from home. Absolutely outstanding apartment, all mod cons, very up market, stylish, comfortable, safe and easily found. We had a baby with us & a travel cot & high chair were in place. All utensils for cooking a delicious breakfast, glasses for our wine, a large main bathroom, en suite and downstairs WC, all finished to a fantastic standard and so CLEAN. At night it was cosy and warm. Re: location - this apartment is a very short walk from the lovely Trennick Mill and Glorious Bascowan Gardens and a 15 min walk from The Heron Inn where we had amazing food one evening. Ideally to see lots of Cornwall I would suggest hiring a car as this apartment is thee perfect Base. THANK YOU EDDIE

Comfortable, extremely well-equipped 2 level apartment, in a lovely location just off the river near Truro, but close to Truro's shops. Ideal either for simply chilling out, or to use as a central point to visit other parts of Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with Eddie was excellent. Thank you !

The apartment was on two levels ,very spacious , a very comfortable bed , and all amenities . The location , suuriunded by woodlands , and adjacent to a beautiful park and a river , but within a couple of minutes from a Tesco was exactly what we wanted . A great spot for lunch or afternoon tea , the Trennick Mill is next door , and a Pub , The Heron with spectacular river views is a quick drive , or a pleasant walk away and well worth a visit . We would highly recommend this property , and would like to thank Eddie for all his help and advice re places to visit and to eat , and for making us feel very welcome .

We found this apartment to be amazing, modern, large enough for four adults , to be very comfortable, and very clean all though. It has all the mod cons you need for a wonderful stay. We would stay again when we are next in the area.

The only drawback was due to the dust in the furnishings. Could the owner please request his cleaners to vacuum the sofas.

We loved our stay here . We needed somewhere that was easy for my elderly mother to navigate but close to things to do . The apartment was really well designed , open and airy even with a small garden . Well equipped and comfortable , and important to us was having a downstairs toilet as well as the upstairs bathroom . The aspect we were surprised about was that despite being in a residential ' development ' it was really peaceful - we were never aware of others around us . The mature trees and green surroundings gave a relaxing feel to the site . Access to the main roads for sight seeing was really easy - it was close to the main A roads . A car is needed really - however ferries did operate from near by for Falmouth .

Ideally suited to walk to Malpas down estuary or into Truro itself for restaurants etc. Good location for visiting different sites on both coasts of Cornwall. Flat very clean and beautifully fitted out. We had a lovely week!

We stayed for a week recently and we were very happy with everything. The accommodation catered for all our needs. It was in a great location for the town centre plus not far to the local beach Pendower and also accessible to the coast. We visited Hayle Towans and Watergate Bay approximately 30 minutes drive. The town has a huge Tesco and an M&S to stock up on food. There is a park called Boscawen minutes away for the kids to play too. A perfect place to stay we would not hesitate to recommend it.
