About the neighbourhood
This old miners' house may be your solution to exploring Vancouver area while being away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. Britannia Beach, an old mining community with its Mining Museum and a National Historic Site, is a tourist attraction by itself. Located at the foot of Coastal Mountains and on the shore of How Sound, it is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, and other nature enthusiasts. Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, the world’s top rock climbing destinations, is just around the corner. Three golf courses are within the distance of 5 to 15km away. Add to that countless of hiking trails and a number of small undeveloped, wild beaches valued for their untouched beauty and preserved nature. And if you are lucky you can even see a herd of killer whales passing by. ...
