Shepherds Barn
My Wife and I work in holiday let management , we stayed in the Shepherds Hut , we were looking for peace and quiet , with shops and pubs close by. We were not disappointed, Host John is what hosting should be , willing to help in anyway he can but not over bearing. The Hut is very well equipped all you need is your clothes and wine , the log burner is so relaxing ,comfy bed, lovely hot shower , add to that the endless views we can fully recommend staying here !

I really don’t know where all the positive comments come from
Ok we stayed here during the summer. I was very dirty, grease all down the side of the fridge and the cooker, cooker was very dirty and a tea towel placed over the rusty/dirty microwave. I can’t find one honest review on Booking.com etc. no this place wasn’t clean, wasn’t comfortable and the owner was very rude. I sometimes read the reviews and think are my standards really that high? I can honestly say this was the worst place we every stayed. I say stayed we arrived late at night and left at 5 am the next morning as soon as it was light. I slept on top of the bed in my clothes. We reached out to the owner and sent photos but never got a reply.

Beautiful Pentre barn x
The perfect getaway! We wanted somewhere secluded and quirky so chose the shepherds hut at the pentre barn and it was the cutest little hut overlooking an amazing countryside. The host John made us feel welcome and was very informative. The private pool was amazing and so were the apples that was growing on site. The hut itself had everything you could need and the bed was very comfy. I will definitely be returning to enjoy this little piece of paradise tucked away in beautiful Wales!
