With secure bike storage, you can leave the car behind. Completely private and semi-detached from neighbouring Foxglove (sleeps 2), this charming wooden cottage is spacious and welcoming. Curated all on one level with a bright duel aspect living area, bespoke well-equipped kitchen, one double and two single bedrooms, Hollyhock is a convenient and adaptable cottage for families, couples and friends. An added bonus is the amazing deck with stunning sundowner panoramic views of grazing horses. Dogs, and even horses, are welcome too. There is adequate parking for three cars to the front, and an electric vehicle charger available. With Houghton Hall and deer park as your neighbour you will certainly feel rather special here. Rub shoulders with royalty as you cycle the empty country lanes to Sandringham Estate via Anmer, home to the Prince and Princess of Wales. The convenient market town of Fakenham has the best street market and auction rooms around, or maybe you fancy a day at the Fakenham Races. Head to Bircham Windmill with a fabulous café, shops and children's farm, sniff out the Norfolk Lavender fields, or walk the dog along the Peddars Way path. Comfortable well-fitted family lodge in quiet country lane
We spent a most enjoyable week in this accommodation with our small dog and, joined by our two adult sons. Thoughtfully/well equipped, clean and comfortable, including an enclosed private decking area overlooking the owners' paddock with horses. chickens and geese. The friendly owners Ed and Jo live in the adjacent house. In a quiet country lane, near to Houghton Hall, very peaceful but with shops and pubs a short drive away and within only half an hour's drive of the superb North Norfolk beaches. Strong internet thankfully, as one of our sons had to work online for a few days.

Peaceful, child -friendly cottage hidden away in the Norfolk countryside
We had a wonderful stay at Jo and Ed's cottage.The children loved all the space to play in the paddock, beside the resident ponies and chickens. It was great to be able to sit out on the decking. Lovely walks on our doorstep and an easy drive to Norfolk's beautiful beaches.
