We have a key-holder who lives within the complex and can be on hand quickly to deal with any issues. Alternatively guests are able to contact the owners mobile. Upon arrival our key-holder will meet you outside the Apartment Block number 6 at Gate Number 5 on Calle Isla de Menorca. If arriving by taxi this is good information for the driver to locate the drop off point.

Lovely modern apartment and we were well looked after by the owner and there team upon arrival and when leaving. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is very well situated overlooking the two main pools and only a 10 minute walk to a nice beach....More

* The prices quoted are for the rent of the apartment that can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people.* A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure a booking. Payment to be made in full 4 weeks prior to stay.* A security / damage deposit of £200 is required to be paid and is returnable on a satisfactory property inspection.* Cleaning and Laundry Costs are €75 that must be paid locally to our key-holder at the start of your stay. An additional mid stay clean is available at an additional cost of €75 as mentioned above..* As we operate a prepaid key card system for the Air Conditioning System, cards can be purchased prior to your holiday. We estimate that in high season you would need approx. £40 per week although this depends on how often you use the system. Please Note – the keys provided are expensive to replace (if lost or stolen) as they are security coded. A charge of £100 will be levied if they have to be replaced and this will be deducted from your security deposit.

About the neighbourhood
Los Alcazares is a lovely Spanish town situated on the Mar Menor (little Sea) on the south east coast of Spain.

The water is very calm and shallow, it is also up to 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea all year round. There are 7km of coast line with blue flag award winning beaches. The lagoon is 22km long by 7km wide. The promenade is lined with palm trees and cherenguito's (Spanish bars serving drinks & tapas) providing a place to stop off for a refreshment as you sit and look across the panoramic lagoon to the La Manga strip on the other side.

Getting around
A car is not necessary, however, if you wish to experience the beauty of the surrounding area you can hire one from either San Javier or Alicante airport but best to do this online before you arrive. Alternatively there is a car hire company located in Los Alcazares.
Public transport is available to visit the nearby cities of Cartagena and Murcia. Further details of the area can be obtained from the nearby Tourist Information Office. The local train station is situated in a town called Balsicas - about 7km from Los Alcazares. Alternatively just jump in a local taxi and see the sights...

Murcia San Javier airport is a ten minute drive away from the apartment and several low cost airlines fly from Glasgow Prestwick (Ryanair) and from Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Manchester (Jet2).
You may need to check flights from Gatwick, Stanstead, Liverpool and East Midlands as well.

Alternatively you can fly to Alicante which is about a 50 minute drive from the apartment. Another international airport is being built in Murcia (Corvera) and is due to open in 2014.
