The expansive dining area comfortably seats eight guests, with a high chair and cot available for families. ​For added ambiance, the living area features an inviting open fireplace, while a woodfired heater in the kitchen space ensures a cosy atmosphere. We provide everything you need to light a fire on site, including wood, lighter, and kindling. Please remember to pack warm clothing if you plan to stay during the cooler months, as it can get chilly in winter. ​After adventurous days exploring the 1000 acres of the countryside through bushwalks, kayaking down the Numeralla River, fishing or hitting the slopes in the Snowy Mountains, relax indoors by the wood-burning fireplace or on the cosy sofa, where Netflix, books, games, and toys await your entertainment. ​Outside, indulge in the wood-fired hot tub with stunning views, or unwind on the front porch while watching our animals graze nearby. Amazing getaway
Our stay in the cottage was purely amazing. The house is gorgeous, decorated beautifully with an eye to small details. Fireplace gives the place soul. Surrounding of the house is picturesque, we meet lots of animals, and one of them stole our hearts- a dog called Bass. Beata and Norbert have this marvellous family and passion for what they're doing. I truly recommend Kallarroo Cottage to stay as your time will be magical❣

A slice of heaven
Kallaroo really is a slice of heaven. Magnificent views of the quintessentially Australian countryside. The accommodation is cosy and welcoming with a wonderful ambience. The hosts, Bea and Norbert (and Bas - the four-legged enthusiastic welcoming party) are lovely and make you feel completely at home. HIGHLY recommend for the perfect country stay!

Amazing!
What a wonderful getaway - secluded and wonderfully picturesque. The cabin itself is beautiful and rustic with all necessary features to be comfortable and happy. Beata and Norbert were lovely and attentive before, during, and after our stay. Will definitely be coming back to this peaceful farmstay. Could not recommend enough.

Absolutely gorgeous stay
Our little family had such a beautiful stay at Kallarroo cottage. We needed to disconnect and get away from our bizy lives, and boy did it do us good. We also make a conscious effort to broaden our kids experiences; cultural and environmental and our little ones LOVED every minute. They would wake up in the morning and put logs in the fire and couldnt wait to get outside and the see the animals. Thanks Bea and Norbert for being great hosts. We loved having a drink with you around the fire. Do yourselves a favor and book in a photo session with Bea also! Memories to treasure forever!

Seclusion in comfort
I stayed for 4 nights with friends and our own horses to do some horse riding. The cottage is large and comfortable and Bea and Norbert are So nice and extremely helpful about everything. There are marked tracks on the property which are beautiful and we booked a neighbour Simon for a day of guided trail riding. Simon had lots of information about country life and was happy to share it. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from it all for a few days.

Absolutely stunning place
We stayed at Kallaroo Cottage. It was a gorgeous little place and so cozy. The views are stunning and the fresh air is so clean and refreshing. We enjoyed the drive there. You will definitely need a 4wd to get there. We spent 4 days in this piece of heaven disconnected from the world as reception was scarce but that just made it more enjoyable as we were forced to find activities to do. Beata was a very friendly and accomodating host who met us as soon as we got there to make sure we had everything we need. The kids had a blast and loved feeding Carrots to the horses. We can’t wait to be back and will tell our friends and family.
