Thank you for the lovely cottage! We really enjoyed the peaceful setting including the lovely farm animals so close by. If you are going to stay make sure you read the parking advise, as the lane is quite tricky to drive on, but the top...More

The train station of Mossley is about a 5 minute car drive or twenty minute walk as is the train station of Greenfield. Both stations are linked and both will get you to Leeds or Manchester and stations in between. Buses into Uppermill and Ashton-under-Lyne/Stalybridge stop on the top road above the Farm. Cycle routes along Canal towpaths and riversides abound throyghout the area as do picturesque walks of all levels. The Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary of Dovestones Reservoir and Bin Green are also within walking distance.
