The view from every window is gorgeous, whether you're looking at wildflowers, the sea, the lighthouse, or, at night, the stars. The house is spacious and totally updated, with speedy wi-fi, yet has the rickety old-fashioned cottage-by-the-sea charm. I only wish my stay were longer!

The kids say 5 stars. We have never stayed in a place more picturesque. Beer and wine on the porch with that view is irreplaceable. Next time we would bring a large jug of water since the tap water is not potable. it felt like we were at Grandma's.

My husband, 12 year old grandson and I spent an amazing four days at this beautiful cottage. It is at the beginning of cove, directly overlooking the small fishing village and the beautiful Peggy's Cove lighthouse. Rolf, the owner, made it extremely easy for us to find the property and get acquainted with the layout in a hurry. He welcomed us with beautiful local flowers in every room. The memories we shared in this cottage will stay with us for lifetime. We highly recommend it!

Great property - a bit rustic. Great views of peggys cove and you can sit on the front porch for hours just taking in the scenery. Decent restaurants within a 15 minute drive as well. There isnt much more than the lighthouse nearby - although Lunenberg and Halifax are close enough to do day trips. Property was clean and well maintained - the not so modern furniture adds to the charm. Recommend it wholeheartedly.
