The Moorings is a recently refurbished, modern 2 bedroom cottage in the world famous sailing village of Hamble. Centrally located, the cottage is an easy 5 minute walk to the pubs, restaurants, shops of the village centre and Hamble foreshore (which offers great crab fishing and/or ice cream opportunities for any small fishermen in your party!). If you're planning to sail, the cottage less than 10 minutes walk from Port Hamble. Alternatively the local train station and bus stops are nearby, offering good access links to the New Forest, Southampton and Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight is just a short ferry trip away from any of these destinations. From June 2016 there will be a direct passenger ferry from Hamble to Cowes.
