Sleeping six people over three bedrooms, this three storey terraced cottage is in the village of Lowick near Wooler.The Barmoor Retreat is a cosy family base, set in the small village of Lowick in the Northumberland countryside, close to the town of Wooler. The cottage has two doubles on the first floor, along with a bathroom, while the second floor offers a twin room with en-suite shower room. Downstairs is a kitchen with dining area and doors to the rear decking, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, the rear garden with decking and furniture is ideal for relaxing, and there is off road parking for two cars. Rear enclosed garden with decking, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Note: The second floor twin bedroom is accessed via a wooden, open-tread spiral staircase, therefore this room may not be suitable for very young children and those with limited mobility. Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife. Town: Lowick is a small village in Northumberland, close to Wooler and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Lowick is also close to the sprawling Ford and Etal estate, which has a steam railway, castle, craft shops, cycling and fishing. The lovely sandy beaches of the Heritgae Coast are an easy drive away, making Lowick a great base for a varied family holiday.More
