Cottage
Built in 1670 Newbrook House was a part of a great estate belonging to Lord Clanmorris. Located down a little boreen off the village road, the house and gardens of Newbrook are embraced by the ancient stone-walled garden of the former Clanmorris estate. Newbrook has evolved from an historic granary to a beautiful home and private wing. Today, we celebrate a culmination of all this history, and invite guests to enjoy the perfect harmony of past and present.

Trip to claremorris
A beautiful wing of the main house which was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We had a lovely stay with our 2 dogs who enjoyed roaming about very safely. It was a bit hard to find and a few directions would have been helpful. If you like a remote location this is the place for you. Wakinbg up to cows peering in your window is the norm. A great place to relax.

Delightful Stay in Mayo Countryside
The space was cozy and clean, with a kitchen to prepare meals in, and a lovely old-style bath in the bathroom. Plenty of green countryside to walk around in - and even a friendly donkey! Lovely nearby pub with traditional fireplace, The Old Ground, within walking distance. Easy distance from Clairemorris, Castlebar, and Knock airport, and you can even see Croagh Patrick from the house! An absolute idyll.

Amazing authentic experience
My friend and I stayed at this amazing space in June. The moment we walked down the cobblestone driveway we knew it was special. No detail was left out - the owners took exquisite care to create a space that was clean, fresh, airy- yet with old world charm you dream about when visiting Ireland. I. Ant even think of a detail that stood out because all of it was so beautiful. The cozy bed, clean bathroom and plenty of hot water... cozy fireplace to have an evening cocktail. And did I mention the adorable cows strolling past in the morning?! Our hosts also gave us several ideas and options of what to do in the area - a bound for weary American travelers. If you have a chance- STAY HERE.
