Medley Meadow was created to protect and conserve some of the last remaining natural meadows in Monmouthshire. The meadows had been organically farmed for many years, so they were in great shape with a variety of flowers and wildlife. With the help of various local charities wetland habitats have been created and over 2300 trees planted and now we have three luxury safari tents and a restored train cabin so that other people can enjoy the location. The site is set in a beautiful area for a holiday, nestled in rolling countryside with views of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye valley. Lots and lots of wonderful animals have made the meadows their home and you’ll be sure to spot a few if you come and stay. Peaceful and Picturesque
A gorgeous stay at Medley Meadows. We had a two bedroom - with a lovely outdoor dining area. A great place to be where you feel a million miles away from everything, but close enough - if you need any essentials! Can’t wait to go back, thanks to Mark and Andy!

An idyllic get away for nature lovers
We are a family of four and had the most wonderful stay here. Andy and Mark were very welcoming and friendly hosts and the setting was peaceful and relaxing and felt really authentic for a glamping experience. The glamping canvass chalets had everything that you needed - comfortable beds, wood burning stove, kitchen, good shower - it was so cosy and comfortable. Outside we lit a fire pit and roasted marshmallows - what more could you want! I would definitely recommend.

About the neighbourhood
We are located in rural Monmouthshire and have views to the Brecon Beacons National Park. You can take a footpath directly from the site, through the meadows, to The Foxhunter pub in Nant-y-Derry. It’s about a 40 minute walk. The Clytha Arms is a couple of minutes drive away and The Hardwick less than a ten minute drive. All great pubs. Raglan castle, the Abergavenny canals and the Brecon Beacons National Park are all within 6 or 7 miles. Some great hill walks include Sugar Loaf, The Blorenge, The Skirrid and Pen y Fan (Pen y Fan is about an hour away). The Blaenavon World Heritage Site is a 20 minute drive and some lovely towns and villages include Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Brecon, Raglan, Monmouth and Hay on Wye.
