Things to do in Wasaga Beach
On the Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is a family friendly and extremely fun getaway in the summertime. The beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. There is ample shopping near the Main Beach area, and watersports to keep your family busy for days. On Tuesday evenings during July and August you can enjoy a free Jazz concert at the new RecPlex gazebo and shop at our outdoor marketplace. On Thursday evenings, enjoy Picnics in the Park at Nancy Island Historic Site.
